My world is a flurry.
It is filled with spontaneous bursts of love and devastation. Sometimes, I find that these spontaneous bursts trickle down to the ends of my fingers and occasionally, I am holding a pencil or a paintbrush to document these precise moments.
I have a catalogue of these moments and memories but more than often my work is impulsive and rarely premeditated. It is a disarray of technicolour that is consigned to a less-disorganised mess of fewer colours. Incidentally, it is only at this point that my thoughts and ideas begin to take form and materialize into something that’s tangible.
I still don’t really know why I do what I do. But I know that I love it. And to me, for now, that’s all that really matters.
